Kadi Suits: In my opinion, what makes Holm unique is its local focus, flexibility and capacity for innovation

Kadi Suits has been working as a leasing manager at Holm for six months, and for her the process of settling in was smooth and quick. “At Holm, I was offered a position in the Business Banking Department. I am also studying entrepreneurship at university, and this offer was a perfect opportunity to further my career. I am very grateful to Holm for being understanding and supportive of combining work and studies. I used to work at another bank, but here I have a much wider range of tasks, which gives me the opportunity to gain broad experience, while simultaneously implementing good ideas. I can make a strategic contribution because the organisation is flexible, our decision-making processes are fast, and the management appreciates entrepreneurial spirit and initiative. I see on daily basis that ours is a bank that helps to implement the good plans of both clients and employees,” says Kadi.

Varied work

“Holm Bank began to offer leasing to private clients last spring, just in time for me to become engaged in this. I started working with new Holm leasing partners and clients to make the leasing process as convenient and smooth as possible for them. My work entails processing transactions, including analysing the transaction and the client’s financial situation and background, preparing a financing offer, drawing up the necessary documents for a loan decision, justifying the loan decision and much more. Also exciting and challenging is the cooperation with the Marketing Department aimed at ensuring that Holm’s leasing solutions are widely known and advertising campaigns are successful. The job of a leasing manager is varied and requires financial knowledge, strong sales skills, analytical thinking and positive communication with clients,” enlists Kadi the multitude of positive aspects in her work.

I like my clients

Kadi says that every client is unique. “No two companies ever have the same financial performance and want to acquire identical assets. Every client’s needs and transactions are different. We finance acquisition of items ranging from a standard passenger car to specialist welding equipment. It is satisfying to see that the clients get what they need thanks to my efforts. I take pleasure in helping businesses grow by providing them with access to the assets and technology they need, as well as helping individuals buy a new car. Holm is a rapidly growing bank and we are intensively developing and improving the services we offer. For my part, I can facilitate the development of leasing products and the company’s business strategy. The realisation that my work contributes directly to the growth and success of the company is a great motivator and the reason why I chose Holm Bank as my employer,” Kadi points out proudly.

“For me, Holm Bank is like a second home. I prefer to spend most of my working week in the office because of my team. The people at Holm are awesome – here carefree laughter and diligent work go hand in hand. We always enjoy mutual understanding and support. There are probably not many banks in Estonia where the head of business banking is always ready to make time for you, listen to you and help you with advice and support. Especially as this is done wisely, with me only getting a pointer, so that I can proceed and find solutions independently. It is very motivating and makes me feel cared for, that I have learned something new and done something right at the same time,” appreciates Kadi.

No getting past outdoor recreation To take her mind off her job after hours and to maintain a good balance between work and family life, Kadi tries to spend time outdoors as much as possible, whether it is just walking or hiking, which is doable even with small children. “I feel that walking and other physical activities in nature is the best way to keep my head clear and recharge my batteries,” shares Kadi.
